In this episode, Babita and I discuss:

  • Setting boundaries so that you can recognize when people are taking space in your life when they shouldn’t be.
  • Setting relationship boundaries by making the space of a sacred couple.
  • The pressures surrounding getting into and being in a relationship.
  • The narcissism spectrum, the roots of narcissism, and the lack of empathy.

Key Takeaways:

  • If you are in a relationship with a narcissist you need to give yourself permission to leave.
  • Use an utilize your village to help you leave and to help you stay safe.
  • Use fear as your friend, understand the dangers of breaking up with a narcissist, the cost of taking action, and the cost of not taking action.
  • Moving forward after a narcissistic relationship, apply what you have learned, realize what you want and need in your next relationship, and ultimately to trust yourself.
